3 weeks complicated, I could not even communicate it, I did not have the courage to write it!
Tetsuo began to feel bad on Tuesday, I was alone, the situation worsened Wednesday, September 18, Tetsuo is paralyzed and unfortunately after the MRI the situation was more severe than last time,another hernia and a severe spinal cord injury. Emergency surgery Wednesday evening and I have to leave it there in Montecatini.
I can not see for five days because it would be emotional stress too strong for him to see us for 5 minutes and then go away ...
Thursday Checco is back , but we can not be quiet, waiting all day 11 AM to call and get news .. unfortunately are negative, Tetsuo has lost deep pain and even reflections, there is little hope that it can walk!
We work a lot these days, I go in the appartemen for restoring the painted ceilings, because I know that I will not have much time when Tetsuo return home.
Monday 24 Tetsuo finally came home, and we take him immediately to the physiotherapist. She also confirmed us that this time it will be much more difficult, but we will try everything. If there is just nothing you can do he will have a wheelchair and will be again as before.
Meanwhile in the first days we tried to walk by holding him as recommended the physiotherapist who also provided us with the rubber shoes to protect his paws.
In fact Tetsuo is more serene, smelling the ground in the garden and growls Max the neighbors Labrador as usual.
Monday, October 1 started the therapy and the exercises in the pool. After 9 days of physiotherapy today it seems that Tetsuo has not more so soft paws, begins to have some resistance and the tail moves a little. We do not want to deceive but it is already an achievement. I hope to write good news soon.

3 settimane difficilissime, non sono riuscita neanche a comunicare! Non avevo il coraggio di scrivere.
Tetsuo ha incominciato a stare male martedì 18 settembre, ero sola, la situazione è precipitata mercoledì 19, Tetsuo é paralizzato e purtroppo dopo gli accertamenti la situzione é più grave dell'altra volta, oltre all'ernia una grave lesione midollare. Lo operano d'urgenza mercoledì sera e sono costretta a lasciarlo lì a Montecatini. Non lo posso vedere per 5 giorni perchè sarebbe uno stress emotivo troppo forte per lui vederci per 5 minuti e poi andare via... Giovedì è tornato Checco, non sono più sola ma non riusciamo a stare tranquilli, aspettiamo tutti giorni le 11.00 per telefonare e avere notizie.. purtroppo sono negative, Tetsuo ha perso il dolore profondo e anche i riflessi, ci sono poche speranze che possa camminare!
Abbiamo lavorato tantissimo in questi giorni, io vado sul cantiere di restauro dei soffitti dipinti per non pensare e perchè so che non avrò tanto tempo quando Tetsuo tornerà a casa.
Finalmente lunedì 24 Tetsuo è tornato a casa, e lo portiamo subito dalla fisioterapista. Ci conferma anche lei che questa volta sarà molto più difficile, ma proveremo tutto. Se proprio non ci sarà niente da fare avrà una sedia a rotelle e tornerà ad essere come prima.
Intanto nei primi giorni abbiamo provato a farlo camminare sorreggendolo dalla pancia come ci ha consigliato la fisioterapista che ci ha anche fornito delle scarpine in gomma per proteggere le sue zampine.
In effetti Tetsuo è più sereno, odora il terreno del giardino e ringhia Max il labrador dei vicini come al solito.
Lunedì 1 ottobre abbiamo cominciato la terapia e gli esercizi in vasca. Dopo 9 giorni di fisioterapia oggi sembra che Tetsuo non abbia piu le zampine così molli, incomincia ad avere una certa resistenza e la coda si muove un pò. Non ci vogliamo illudere ma è già un risultato. Spero di scrivere presto buone notizie.
