San Benedetto Market Cagliari

Thursday morning before leaving to return to Florence I was with my mom at the San Benedetto market in Cagliari to buy something special for dinner tonight. As you can see from the photos there is  a great variety of fish, shellfish, crabs and not only!

Giovedì mattina prima di partire per ritornare a Firenze sono  stata con mia mamma al Mercato di San Benedetto a Cagliari per comprare qualcosa di speciale per la cena di stasera. Come vedete dalle foto c'è soprattutto una grande varietà di pesci, frutti di mare, granchi e non solo!

Pictures of the church of San Michele in Stampace in Cagliari, the complex built by the Jesuits in the 16 th century also included the Jesuit convent now house of the military hospital. You can visit every day the interior and the Sacristy, which also preserves the polychrome wooden sculptures of the Mysteries of the sculptor Giuseppe Antonio Lonis brought in processions on Tuesday of Holy Week.


Immagini della chiesa di san michele nel quartiere di Stampace a Cagliari; il complesso costruito dalla Compagnia di Gesù nel 16° secolo comprendeva anche il convento dei Gesuiti oggi sede dell'ospedale militare. Si può visitare tutti i giorni sia l'interno che la  Sacrestia che conserva anche le sculture lignee policrome dei Misteri dello scultore Giuseppe Antonio Lonis portate in procesione il Martedì della Settimana Santa.

CHRISTMAS TREE

Here is the tree that we decorated in my parents house in Sardinia where the whole family get together. 

There are many decorations but my favorites are the colorful glass spheres that we bought in a store specialized on Christmas decorations in Mulhouse in Alsace. 

As our last the unsuccessful attempt of group photo in front of the tree with Tetsuo. 

Tetsuo unfortunately is uncontrollable in the presence of so much food!

Ecco l'albero che abbiamo decorato nella casa dei miei genitori in Sardegna dove si riunisce tutta la famiglia. 

Ci sono tante decorazioni ma le mie preferite sono le palline di vetro colorato che provengono da un negozio specializzato in decori natalizi di Mulhouse in Alsazia. 

Come ultima foto il nostro tentativo fallito di una foto di gruppo con Tetsuo davanti all'albero; purtroppo Tetsuo è incontrollabile in presenza di tanto cibo!
