I saw this beautiful birth tray from the collection of the Museum of Palazzo Davanzati in the exhibition "Money and Beauty. Bankers, Botticelli and the Bonfire of the Vanities" now in Palazzo Strozzi.

ATELIER ARTEMISIA RESTAURO

Lo Studio “Artemisia Restauro” situato nel centro storico di Firenze vicino a Ponte Vecchio propone copie d'arte con tecniche antiche come dipinti a olio su tela, tavola e rame, pannelli decorativi con soggetti rinascimentali realizzati a tempera su tavola e ad affresco graffito e miniature su pergamena sempre ponendo grande attenzione alla scelta dei materiali, pigmenti purissimi e vernici naturali. Lo studio realizza anche oggetti di artigianato artistico fiorentino, come cornici dorate, sfere e obelischi a finto marmo.

“Artemisia” si occupa di restauro di dipinti su tela e tavola, di sculture lignee, di cornici e affreschi e organizza corsi individuali e per piccoli gruppi di tempera a uovo, doratura e affresco.

The “Artemisia” studio offers art objects made with traditional Florentine methods, including gold-leaf frames, spheres and obelisks in false marble. The studio also creates copies of artworks using the techniques of the old masters like oil on canvas, fresco painting and illuminations on parchment. “Artemisia” also offer restauration on paintings, frames, frescos and wood sculptures. Another activity of the studio is the organization of individual or group courses on egg tempera, gilding and fresco painting techniques.

The studio "Artemisia is situated in the historic center of Florence, close to Ponte Vecchio.
