Yesterday I accompanied my colleagues for a possible work in the garden of Villa Gamberaia. The villa was built at the beginning of 1600 and Italian gardens and the rocaille cabinet in 1700. 

It 's a lovely place,you arrive to a narrow street that goes from Florence to Settignano with high walls decorated with graffiti on the plaster, and as you can see from here you can enjoy an incredible view of the city, from the pool you can clearly see the Brunelleschi dome. 

The garden is open every day and you can take a guided tour of the villa  except in the days of organized events.

The apartments in Lemonaia, in the chapel and the villa can be rented per week!

The most interesting thing was observer through the decay and the separate parts the technique of the building of the rocaille gardens;  would need an urgent restoration.

Ieri ho accompagnato i miei colleghi per un possibile lavoro a una visita del giardino di Villa Gamberaia. La costruzione della villa risale all'inizio del 1600 e i giardini all'italiana e il cabinet rocaille al 1700. 

E' un luogo incantevole, ci sia arriva per una stretta via che sale da Firenze verso Settignano con alti muri decorati a graffito sull'intonaco e da qui come potete vedere si puo godere un incredibile vista della città, dalla piscina si vede chiaramente la cupola del Brunelleschi. 

Il giardino è visitabile tutti i giorni e si può fare una vista guidata  della villa tranne in occasione di eventi organizzati.

Gli appartamenti nella Limonaia, nella cappella e la villa si possono affittare a settimana!!!

La cosa più interessante è stata osservare attraverso il degrado e le parti cadute la costruzione del giardini rocaille; avrebbe bisogno di un urgente intervento di restauro.
